About me.
Nice to meet you. My name is Tanya Lai.
I am a software engineer in Seattle, Washington working for Microsoft in Intune's Data, Machine Learning, and Artificial Intelligence team. I graduated with a B.S.E. in computer science and a minor in music from the
University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, in April 2022. In my free time, you can catch me playing the double bass, playing Pokémon, reading sci-fi and non-fiction books, doodling on my iPad, and stuffing my face with food.
I'm interested in applications of technology for social good, artistic means (especially musical applications), and supporting women in STEAM fields. I'm also looking to join a community orchestra as a double bassist. Currently open to collaborating on projects of the sort – feel free to reach out and let's discuss more.
